Broke camp yesterday and brought the camper down, returned today with TJ and retrieved my Ranger and TJ's generator. As usual the weather was brisk but nice and clear. Roads are not bad, a few slick spots on 77. Seen several Bighorn Sheep again at the usual place near the lake.
Will have more details as soon as I get things back in order here at home. Got two truck loads of stuff to unload yet. The harvest total was 10 cows, no bull licenses this season. Just about everybody seen elk and most got some shooting. The migration is still on with what looks like maybe 1000 head now in the ranch area. I sure hope the DOW does not go bonkers over all the bulls seen this year and allow combination licenses this next fall. It would be nice to harvest some near trophy bulls, something we haven't seen in a good many years. From what I've observed there should be some bulls with nice racks this next fall.
The L2 season ended the 4th of January.
