Buck with Wasting Disease found southwest of Colorado Springs
The DOW reports that a buck found southwest of Colorado Springs, near the Cheyenne Mountain zoo, had wasting disease. This is the first confirmed case of wasting disease south of the Palmer Divide. The DOW recommends that any harvested Deer or Elk be tested before it is consumed. Further information on wasting disease may be found at the Dow web site indicated in the right side bar.
